REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Represented a Silicon Valley employer in a lawsuit against former executives who embezzled millions of dollars from the company. $10 million judgment secured in favor of client-employer following a jury trial in Santa Clara Superior Court. 

Represented a commercial tenant/restaurateur suing landlord for fraud in a commercial lease dispute. Secured a seven-figure jury verdict, including punitive damages against landlord in San Francisco Superior Court.

 

Defended a semiconductor machine manufacturer in Santa Clara Superior Court in a multi-million dollar lawsuit against claims of breach of statutory warranty and covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Defeated plaintiff's JNOV and new trial motion. Decision affirmed on appeal, resulting in a published opinion. 

Obtained a client-favored settlement on behalf of real estate developer in a breach of contract dispute  stemming from unreasonable price increases in change orders.
